From the day I got the first issue in the mailbox
Had me on lock like prisoners in Cell blocks
Mario 2 and the zelda second quest
Totally obsessed from that day on I'd never rest
Keepin me updated with the products
Laughin at the Howard and nester comics, special times
One time I even called the hot line,
Ran up the phone bill got screamed on by mom,
she was mad at me, even took a jab at me, but that didn't stop me I was all about the magazine
(Nintendo Power) who showed me the code to tyson
(Nintendo Power) who got me unlimited lives in
Mario 1, and now that you're done, i figured the least I could do was get to writing
I waited impatiently for every issue --

Once upon a time/ before my brain was trained up in the art of spawning rhymes/ the school bus was a tune up/ to my gettin glued to the screen/ enjoying newness of scenes/ from anime true to the theme of Toonami's awesome line/ cartoons that brought the crunk out of the boy/ to punk out all my toys/ and catch DBZ in the afternoon/ watch YuYu Hakusho and Gundam Wing's what I had to do/ through the High School ages then in College it was sadly doomed/ but now it's back/ four years later/ and this my humble request don't ignore this haters/ said it wasn't making money but now it's a matter of perspective/ Toonami needs the ratings for funds to gather more collections/ of tunes/ that are so Mr. Freeze in the summer hey/ still too cool to ignore on a Saturday/ but the most important piece of the new puzzle is you/ cuz Toonami doesn't stay if nobody's up to view/
so watch Toonami/ you heard me watch Toonami/ Saturdays at midnight when we know that Bleach is on we/ say we're definitely watching Samurai 7 next/ and if you get to Sym-Bionic Titan I'm impressed/ Eureka 7 through Inuyasha for your retro fix/ Bleach brings you in then its a battle for the best of six/ tryin to get each show above a million, if that happens it/ will ensure that Toonami has built a line up of nested hits/ and while I'm on this subject guess I have to say/ I wouldn't be hard pressed to keep requesting Shonen anime/ just let the guys at Turner do their magic, yo their listenin/ but bringing in shows that you will positively valuate/ gotta be happy with what we lookin at as Toonami Faithful/ just a few months ago this wasn't even on the table/ there was a void that only only be filled with T.O.M. on cable/ so personally I will watch as long as I am able/ so join me as we strive to keep these ratings up/ waiting for the other tunes that Jason D is saving up/ nocturnally waking up/ to see adult swim quaking us/ with new Toonami tunes to use as entertaining staples but/ while it's paramount that we watch and enjoy/ make a party of it for the girls and the boys/ bring a new fan or four into your television lair/ and lets enjoy some anime to keep Toonami on the air/
